We’re proud of our roster and each year we celebrate it with the Best of Fooda awards, asking you to choose your favorites. The votes are in, and here are your winners for Nashville’s Best of Fooda 2019.

Best BBQ | Single Best Lunch – Blue Moon BBQ

2323 Elliston Place, Nashville, TN

It’s official, Blue Moon BBQ is Nashville’s Single Best Lunch for the third year in a row! Fooda audiences love their housemade sauces, Texas-style brisket, pulled pork, and smoked chicken as well as vegetarian options including meatless green beans and broccoli casserole. Pro-tip: get in line early, these guys sell out of mac and cheese pretty much every day. And while you’re there, scope out the banana pudding, it’s made from scratch and worth a try.

Best American – Nashville Chicken and Waffles

Nashville Chicken and Waffles serves up crispy chicken tenders with a little bit of spice to complement their sweet and fluffy Begian waffles. Notable sides include pickles (mild, medium, or Nashville hot) and their signature mac and cheese.

Best Mexican – Amigo’s Mexican Grill

1025 Crossings Blvd Spring Hill, TN 37174

For those of you keeping track, Amigo’s Mexican Grill is a repeat Best of Fooda winner, and for good reason! Everyday this family-owned business is serving up fresh chips with warm queso, protein-packed rice bowls with shredded chicken, pico de gallo, and guacamole, not to mention flavorful beef tacos with rice and beans.

Best Asian – Lucky Bamboo China Bistro

5855 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN  37209

Lucky Bamboo China Bistro is the spot for authentic Chinese, Cantonese, and Szechuan food including Hot Pot and Dim Sum. Classic menu items include egg rolls, General Tso Chicken, and Lo Mein but if you’re looking for something different, try the Country Style Tofu with fried tofu, snow peas, carrots, winter bamboo, shiitake mushrooms, and brown rice.
