Best Entree 0f 2023 – Southwest Burrito Bowl from Califarmia

califarmiatruck.com

The voting for this year’s Best Delivery Entree category was intense, with several well-known Nashville eateries vying for the top spot. In the final tally, Califarmia’s bright and fresh flavors helped them edge out the competition. So what makes their Southwest Burrito Bowl a winning workplace meal? This deliciously balanced dish starts with a base of black beans, citrus-lime cabbage, fire-roasted salsa, pico de gallo, chipotle crema, and shredded Chihuahua cheese, all served on a bed of jasmine rice. Topped with a healthy portion of either ancho chile-lime chicken or grassfed ground beef, it’s the perfect hunger-ending combination for the lunch-break crowd.

It’s hard to imagine a more customer-focused crew than the team at Fitz Willy’s food truck. Their ever-changing menu combines traditional Cajun, Louisiana Creole, and “good old American” dishes. They even provide a selection of delicious vegan options so that everyone can “get their gumbo on.” When an event calls for it, Fitz Willy’s is also ready to adapt their menu to serve everything from an Oktoberfest currywurst to a St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage. Not surprisingly, their dedication to delivering a great customer experience extends to their on-site catering, winning over the hearts, minds, and bellies of Fooda’s most discerning customers.

Taking inspiration from the vibrant authenticity and community spirit of the taco scene in Austin, Texas, Ladybird Taco is fast becoming a favorite for Nashville’s foodies. Their menu prioritizes quality over complexity, offering a variety of breakfast and lunch tacos served on fresh, house-made tortillas. Their restaurant location also features full barista service, making Ladybird Taco a great place to grab a quick-and-tasty caffeinated pick-me-up. The taco-and-coffee shop is open daily, but they keep cafe hours, closing by mid-afternoon. If you were hoping for a late-night taco joint to silence your after-work hunger pangs, however, you’re out of luck.
