People’s Choice Award – Paseo

paseorestaurants.com

Established in 1994, Paseo is a Seattle institution, serving up Caribbean-inspired sandwiches with a cult following. Paseo boasts #thebestsandwichinseattle and with good reason. Their sammies have won spots on Best Of lists for a variety of media outlets including Yelp and the Food Network. The overwhelming crowd favorite is the Caribbean Roast, a split baguette filled with roasted pulled pork, caramelized onions, romaine, aioli, cilantro, and jalapeños. But there are a significant number of people who will go to bat for the Smokin’ Chicken Thighs sandwich. It’s made with skin-on boneless chicken thighs that are flash grilled and oven roasted then paired with caramelized onions, romaine, aioli, cilantro, and jalapeños.
