When we’re looking for restaurant partners, we’re searching for the best of the best from trendy downtown restaurants to scrappy food trucks to hidden-gem mom and pops. We’re proud of our roster and each year we celebrate it with the Best of Fooda awards, asking you to choose your favorite. The votes are in, and the People’s Choice Award for Seattle goes to Paseo.

People’s Choice Award – Paseo

Established in 1994, Paseo is a Seattle institution, serving up Caribbean-inspired sandwiches with a cult following. Paseo boasts #thebestsandwichinseattle and with good reason. Their sammies have won spots on Best Of lists for a variety of media outlets including Yelp and the Food Network. The overwhelming crowd favorite is the Caribbean Roast, a split baguette filled with roasted pulled pork, caramelized onions, romaine, aioli, cilantro, and jalapeños. But there are a significant number of people who will go to bat for the Smokin’ Chicken Thighs sandwich. It’s made with skin-on boneless chicken thighs that are flash grilled and oven roasted then paired with caramelized onions, romaine, aioli, cilantro, and jalapeños.
