Fooda is excited to announce Fooda Gives Back, a new employee-driven initiative focused on deepening our social impact in the markets in which we operate.

Fooda employees selected two non-profit organizations to support during our biannual Days of Service events. Here’s a bit about the two organizations we’ve partnered with:

Blessings in a Backpack

  • Their Mission: Provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry
  • Fooda’s Support: Fooda will provide hands-on support by packing food bags and writing personal notes to place inside the bags that are delivered to the schools
  • Fooda’s Impact: Provide children with hunger-free weekends by assembling bags of satisfying and nutritious food

Thank you to Chicago Messenger Service for donating their services to help deliver over 80 crates to local schools!

Children’s Miracle Network

  • Their Mission: Generating funds and awareness programs in partnership with and for the benefit of member hospitals/foundations and the children they are privileged to serve
  • Fooda’s Support: Fooda teams will volunteer in hospitals with sick children
  • Fooda’s Impact: Providing outreach and positive experiences for children in local hospitals and bringing awareness to illnesses that affect children

Through these charitable partnerships, Fooda employees are able to share the values we look to uphold each day. Over the coming weeks, Fooda employees across the country will coordinate and participate in events supporting the non-profit organizations above. We’ll update you about the events soon. In the meantime, learn more about Blessing in a Backpack, Children’s Miracle Network, and working at Fooda.

UPDATE: Fooda packed over 2,000 bags for Blessings in a Backpack and helped hundreds of hospitalized kids through Children’s Miracle Network. Check out the photos of Fooda’s Days of Service from events across the country below!
